This is also coptic binding but with two loose covers instead of every signature having its own cover, which I did on my first try. The front and back covers both have built-in pockets, too.

Tried another type of binding, also using an old thesis proposal poster for the cover.

I love how the spine looks. It’s a very flexible type of binding. It’s probably just not sturdy enough for travel, given the paper stock I used.

Can’t wait to experiment with more luxurious materials though. This will be lovely with leather! :o

Just before 2010 came to an end, I managed to scratch one off my to-design list. This is a coptic bound notebook with blank pages inside. I recycled one of my thesis proposal posters circa 2008 for the covers.

I really like how this turned out. Will probably explore paper as a medium this 2011. :)
