Watercolor, metallic pens, and colored pencils This is what I’ve been up to lately, the first of many plates I’m doing for finals next week. In a roundabout way, I guess I’ve found something I also want to do with my life, just in time for when something I wanted to do since I was ten, isn’t exactly working out. I like that I have to try harder this time around, probably because I am not as good at this, or I have better professors, or the basics of interior design are just so tedious and time-consuming, or all of the above. In any case, I like that I get to learn more because of this. I like that it has everything I like about graphic design and typography—the only difference is, you can’t really bullshit your way with your use of space, materials, etc.—which is my problem with graphic design to begin with. I like that it has to do with something more relevant, essential. Disappointments fall away in due time, but there is always, always much to hope for. :)
